Download 3.9.0.1 for rollbackProduct overview
JetEngine is a dynamic-content plugin for WordPress. It lets site builders define custom post types, custom content types, taxonomies and metadata, then display that data through listing templates and dynamic elements. Query tools, relations and visibility rules help connect the content model to the front end.
Although it is widely used with Elementor, Elementor is not mandatory for every setup. Crocoblock also lists support for the Gutenberg block editor, Bricks and Divi. The required builder depends on the widgets, blocks and templates used in the project.
JetEngine is useful for directories, property catalogs, event listings, membership content and other sites with repeatable structured data. It is less suitable for a conventional blog or brochure site where native WordPress posts, pages and a few custom fields already cover the requirements.
Plan content types, fields and relationships before designing templates. Changing that structure later can affect queries, listings, filters and existing content, so a small staging prototype is worthwhile.
The main package is JetEngine 3.9.0.2. Seven external modules are also available as separate downloads: Custom Visibility Conditions, Attachment Link Callback, Dynamic Charts, Layout Switcher, Dynamic Tables, Trim Callback and Post Expiration Period. They are optional additions, not replacements for the main plugin and not the complete Crocoblock product suite.
Exact WordPress, PHP and builder-version compatibility has not been verified for this package. A license key is not included. Developer support, automatic updates and related Crocoblock services are separate offerings from the original developer.
The October 28, 2026 release contains two security changes. Block editor previews now check user permissions before rendering a block preview. Relations operations also receive stronger permission checks in the Relations interface.
Version 3.9.0.1, available here as a previous package, addressed unsafe dynamic-function parameters and updated Map Listings compatibility with JetSmartFilters request signatures. Because 3.9.0.2 adds further security checks, use the older release only for a controlled compatibility test or temporary rollback, not as the preferred installation.
Install Download JetEngine WP Plugin first through Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin. Activate it with your chosen builder and create a small test content type, several fields and one listing template. Verify the query, single-item output and editor preview before migrating a larger content structure.
Add external modules one at a time and only when their functionality is required. Before rolling back from 3.9.0.2, make a full backup and test listing output, relations and permissions on staging. Do not treat rollback as a substitute for the current security fixes.
JetEngine suits WordPress projects with structured content that goes beyond ordinary posts and pages. It brings content types, custom fields, queries and listing templates into one toolkit, with support for several builders. That breadth is useful for directories and data-driven sites, but it also requires a clear content model before building templates. The current package includes important permission fixes; keep the separate external modules optional and test every custom query before deployment.
No. Elementor is supported, but Crocoblock also provides integrations for Gutenberg, Bricks and Divi. Your chosen builder must support the specific tools you use.
No. Install the main plugin first and add only modules that provide functionality your project needs.
The release adds permission checks before block previews are rendered and strengthens permission checks for Relations operations.
Usually it is more than a simple blog needs. Its main value appears when a site requires custom content structures, queries and dynamic templates.
